Why Softwash?

Over time, black stains pictured here (which are caused by a corrosive bacteria) are not just an eyesore, they work to eat away the material that bonds shingles together, causing granule loss.

They also damage the roofs’ insulating and water resistant properties and can eventually result in costly repairs or even replacement.

As useful as pressure washing is for many applications, it is not suitable for most roofs. In fact, high pressure will cause the same granule loss you’re working to prevent.

In contrast, softwashing uses low pressure and cleaning agents to safely cleanse and protect your roof.
